We correct substantive errors transparently, noting the date and nature of the change. People facing significant criticism are given a fair opportunity to respond.
Conflicts and anonymous sources
Contributors disclose material interests. Anonymous sourcing is used only when the information matters and the source faces a credible reason not to be named.
Commercial separation
Sponsors do not approve independent editorial conclusions. Sponsored, commissioned, affiliate-linked and partner-supported content is clearly labelled.
Generative AI
AI may support limited production tasks under human review. We do not use it to invent quotes, evidence, identities or depictions of named real people and events.
Investment and property risk
Opportunity coverage must surface uncertainty, downside and verification steps. Journalism is not personal financial, legal, tax, property or investment advice.
Accountability

Substantive corrections are recorded on the affected article with a date and clear description.
